Article 8

ARTICLE VIII: ACTIVITIES

Section 1—The chapter shall determine multiple group service opportunities for each year. Hours contributed will be applicable toward service hour requirements.

 

Section 2—
To remain in good standing, seniors will be required to complete two group projects per year. One group project will be of their choosing, the other will be fulfilled by participating in senior service day.  (updated 2026)

*Officers will complete 7 hours each semester rather than the 5 required by regular members.

 

 

Section 3— These projects and volunteer contributions shall have the following characteristics: fulfill a need within the school or community; have the support of the administration and the faculty; be appropriate and educationally defensible; and be well planned, organized, and executed.

 

Section 4 —The chapter shall publicize its projects in a positive manner.
